The Domus is the only structure in the world to be located inside an archaeological complex, in the adjoining Castrensian amphitheater, where gladiator shows and fights between men and beasts took place.
The rooms of the Domus Sessoriana are derived from the cells of the monastery attached to the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. They are single, double, twin, triple and quadruple. They have private bathrooms and all the comforts of a modern accommodation facility. Moreover, although this is a hotel in the center of Rome, the Domus Sessoriana guarantees a stay in privacy and relaxation.

Like the rest of the complex, the rooms of the Domus Sessoriana are derived from the ancient cells inhabited by Benedictine, Cistercian and Carthusian monks who, since the tenth century, have come and gone in the monastery built next to the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme at the behest of Pope Benedict VI.
From the ancient plant they preserve the terracotta floors, the finishes of the walls below, the handicraft furnishings made according to precise indications of the Superintendency.
